This Development & Inclusion Analyst will report to the Learning & Development Manager and will work within the Human resources directorate based in either our London, Sundridge or Borehamwood office. You will be a Fixed Term Contract employee (6 months).

 

You will attract a salary of up to £40,000.00 *pro rata (depending on experience) and a bonus of 7.5%. This role can also offer blended working after probationary period - 3 days in the office and 2 remote

Job purpose:

To work as part of a successful team to deliver the UK Power Networks workforce resilience commitments and strategy. You will analyse and evaluate diversity and development data to help the team deliver meaningful programmes of work.

You will provide accurate and relevant development and inclusion insight that gives HR and managers in the business the information and confidence to deliver change.

 

Principle accountabilities:

  • You will develop/maintain PowerBI dashboards and other reports measuring learning and development outputs and inclusion progress (monthly/quarterly/yearly)
  • You will produce quality documents and analysis; construct outputs appropriate to the audience and methodology
  • You will refine and strengthen existing reporting following the business strategies
  • You will support the roll out, utilisation and maintenance of digital learning platforms to employees
  • You will maintain the Learning Management System
  • Provide technical support on the Think Performance performance management system (SAP)
  • You will collaborate with a range of partners and help analyse their requirements
  • You will support with wider Learning & Development activities including roadshows, diversity & inclusion events, school outreach programmes and training sessions
  • You will work with the team to identify improvement and new ideas new ideas, considering risks, opportunities and impacts arising - looking to reduce or eliminate unnecessary activities

 

Nature and scope:

UK Power Networks delivers safe and sustainable electricity distribution networks. We work in both regulated and unregulated markets. The vast majority of our employees work in the regulated business - the public electricity networks – working with our regulator Ofgem in a series of regulatory review periods. A smaller proportion of the business takes on major commercial projects and contracting assignments ranging from supporting the major London airports to Powerlink, the private maintainer of much of the London Underground.

 

Qualifications:

  • Experience in an analytical, data-focused role
  • Experience with Excel and proficient in PowerBI (you will be required to both build new, and maintain existing dashboards)
  • Experience with inclusion and development
  • You will handle sensitive / confidential information following all guidelines and laws
  • You will be solution focussed
  • Identify, engage and manage relationships with all partners
  • You will interpret and translate complex information
  • You will manage multiple projects and deliverables
