This Cyber Security Portfolio Administrator will report to the Cyber Security Portfolio Lead and will work within Cyber Security & Technology Risk based in our London, Elephant and Castle office. You will be a permanent employee.

 

You will attract a salary of up to £42,000.00 dependant on skills, qualifications and experience and a bonus of 7.5%. This role can also offer blended working after probationary period (6 months) - 3 days in the office and 2 remote

JOB PURPOSE:

You will provide a comprehensive operational support to the Cyber Security Portfolio team and the Head of Cyber Security & Technology Risk, supporting in the coordination of cyber security activities, collation of reporting data, ensuring an organised and efficient workflow.

You are required to maintain provide and maintain administrative support and collaboration with other support staff across the business. Assistance will be provided with project management and deliverable execution, keeping the senior management team on track to meet important goals, ensuring customer and partner satisfaction is maintained with communications and excellent service delivery.

 

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Coordination and support of Cyber Security portfolio administration, including the raising of Purchase and Work Orders, recruitment and risk management.

  • Be a primary contact between Cyber Security and governance groups, including coordinating the work of the different groups and providing administrative support for governance meetings.

  • Determine priority of matters of attention for the Head of Cyber Security & Technology Risk and the Cyber Security Portfolio Manager, redirecting matters to staff to handle, or handling matters personally.

  • Manage the Head of Cyber Security & Technology Risk and the Cyber Security Portfolio Manager calendars.

  • You will sort and triage mail; maintain email and other address directories.

  • Reconcile expense reports, corporate card reconciliations, etc.

  • Maintain communications across stakeholder groups and distribution lists

  • Schedule departmental meetings, assisting in the preparation and distribution of agendas, minutes and actions.

  • Coordinate periodic cyber security performance reporting, highlighting delivery progress, exceptions and performance, provision of updates to the Cyber Leadership Management Team, Head of Cyber Security & Technology Risk and the Cyber Security Portfolio Manager.

  • Support in the arrangement of travel and accommodations for Cyber Leadership Management Team, Head of Cyber Security & IS Risk and the Cyber Security Portfolio Manager.

  • Maintain SharePoint filing systems.

  • Process communications and correspondence for important updates and inquiries to staff at all levels across the organisation.

  • Help with special projects and tasks in a support capacity.

  • Other additional tasks as assigned from time to time, including supporting other departments or Executives.

     

NATURE AND SCOPE:

UK Power Networks is working to uplift our defences against cyber-attacks and increase our cyber security posture with ongoing continuous improvement, building our capabilities within UK Power Networks. You will support the Head of Cyber Security & Technology Risk and the Cyber Security Portfolio Manager in coordinating and management of the administrative activity, governance reporting and portfolio reporting.

 

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

Essential

  • Experience managing primary business processes such as task planning, risk & issue management, recruitment, knowledge management, portfolio monitoring and reporting.

  • Accustomed to working across multiple stakeholders, including senior executives.

  • You will build relationships with demanding partners and senior colleagues.

  • Expert proofreading and editing skills.

  • A interest and ability to work in a team environment and work independently.

  • Proficient in the use of common office software.

 

Desirable

  • Understanding of working within a regulated environment.
